Katya is a writer, editor, and creative strategist redefining the intersection of fashion and
sustainability. As co-founder and editor of
No Kill Magazine and co-founder of 501(c)3

No Kill: Project Planet, she challenges outdated industry norms and advocate for a new
vision—one where fashion is as intelligent, innovative, and responsible as it is expressive.


A member of the UN Fashion & Lifestyle Collective, Katya works at the forefront of
conversations around systemic change in the fashion industry. Her work pushes beyond
greenwashing and surface-level solutions, calling for true accountability, regenerative
practices, and a shift away from the industry’s entrenched

take-make-waste model.


In addition to her editorial and advocacy work, Katya is an Adjunct Associate Professor
in the Graduate Communication Design program at Pratt Institute, where she teach
courses on Fashion & Communications and Sustainability & Design. With a
background in communication design and photography, she brings

a critical yet forward-thinking perspective to the evolving world of fashion.
