Katya Moorman is a multifaceted creative force, blending her talents as a writer, photographer, designer, and educator with her entrepreneurial spirit. As the co-founder and editor of No Kill Magazine, she is dedicated to fundamentally transforming our relationship with the planet towards a more sustainable and positive direction.
Her journey in the creative industry began with StyleDefined NYC, a blog turned influential platform, which she led from 2008 to 2014. Her collaboration with notable brands like SONY and MAC Cosmetics has established her as a visionary in creating impactful, socially-conscious design work.
Her personal works have been displayed in prestigious venues like SONY Plaza and the 9/11 Memorial Museum, showcasing her unique artistic voice. Educating the next generation, she imparts her knowledge and experience as a faculty member at Pratt Institute's Graduate Communication Design program.
Katya holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from SUNY Purchase and an M.F.A. in 2D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art
